At James Bean Coffee Co. we grow 100% Kona coffee.
Our coffee is organically grown, hand picked, sun-dried and roasted with great care.
Our small, family-owned farm is located in the beautiful Kona coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, in the renowned Kona Coffee Belt on the western slopes of Mt. Hualalai dormant shield volcano.
We offer coffee tours, coffee tasting and the option for you to pick your own coffee! Yes, pick your own coffee and pick it up when ready. Check our Agritourism section for more info.
For your full coffee experience stay at our ohana in the tree house nearby the farm.

Hi, I'm James Slusser!
Our farm has a long history and I have been taking care of the 2 acres coffee orchard since 2012. We have 2000 trees of an average age of 40 years...yes coffee trees live a really long live span!
What can I say, I'm just out here standing in my field, picking the best coffee cherries so I can float, pulp and dry.... then roast, bag and ship some of the best Kona coffee to YOU.
